The Museum District is a community in Houston, Texas. The district houses a variety of museums, galleries, and cultural centers and draws millions of visitors a year. The Museum District is marked by several apartment and condo complexes that are only a walk away from the area’s many attractions.

Houston Zoo – The Houston Zoo connects the Museum District and the Greater Houston Area with animals in hopes that it will inspire them to save wildlife and actively aid conservation efforts. The zoo actively supports a large variety of conservation projects in countries all around the world.

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston – The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston has its own diverse collection, which includes paintings, sculptures, photography, and more. The museum hosts rotating exhibits of art from different areas of the world and also maintains its own cinema.

Houston Museum of Natural Science – The Houston Museum of Natural Science, located in the Museum District, includes permanent exhibitions covering everything from Texas wildlife to ancient Egypt. The museum also has a planetarium, an observatory, and a living butterfly habitat.
