Washington Avenue, also know as the Washington Corridor, is a neighborhood in Houston, Texas. The neighborhood is marked by houses dating back to the early 1900s, contemporary townhouses, and modern apartment complexes. Additionally, Washington Avenue has become a center for Houston’s nightlife.

Buffalo Bayou Partnership – The Buffalo Bayou Partnership is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to revitalizing and preserving one of Houston’s largest natural resources. To get the community of Washington Corridor and all of Houston involved, the organization gives walking and boat tours of the bayou.

The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts – The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts is dedicated to providing the best and most diverse performing arts to the Washington Corridor and downtown Houston. Other than performances, the center hosts a variety of performing arts classes.

Downtown Rotary Club of Houston – The Downtown Rotary Club of Houston is a non-profit organization that cultivates social relationships amongst the residents of the Washington Corridor and rest of Downtown Houston. The club supports a wide variety of service projects and fundraisers.
